Living History at Fort Totten

Bayside, NY

October 15, 2022

The Bayside Historical Society invited us for a second visit to historic Fort Totten in Bayside, Queens to give a living history. And once again, they did an excellent job advertising the event. Combined with the fine weather, we were BUSY from 10am right through 3pm when we finished. We loaded and fired on the hour every hour and each time we had a sizeable audience. We all talked some much giving our voice boxes a rest for the remainder of the day. Special thanks to Superfan Chris Lauterbach for taking video of our demonstrations and photos of the fort's Battery guarding the opening between the East River and Long Island Sound.
