155th Anniversary
The Battle of Cedar Creek

Middletown, VA

October 19 - 20, 2019

After the bomb scare in 2017 and cancelation in 2018, the Cedar Creek Battlefield Foundation managed to pull off a successful weekend to commemorate the 155th anniversary of the battle. The only inconvenience being the unexpected rain early Sunday that thankfully did not derail the day's scenario. We managed to field a full company for our battalion the 2nd Federal Rifles. And we had (almost) our full commissary that kept us well fed the whole weekend. It was heartening to see such good attendance by the community to welcome the return of this event and we hope this continues into the future.
