The Nassau County Museum of Art invited the Civil War Reenacting community to the opening of Mort Kuntsler's one-man exhibition to add some historical flavor. We joined the 10th NY Cavalry, 9th Virginia, and 119th NY in setting up camp on the grounds and even managed some demonstrations however the incessant rain finally drove us indoors where we viewed his works, made a few purchase, and had the rare honor of meeting the artist himself.
