James 'Jim' Cuzzo was an avid lover of American history. He enjoyed reading about American history and made it a point when time permitted to visit battlefield's within the Continental US during his travels. In 2014, his Son-in-law Scott, finally solved the riddle of Scott's Great-Great Grandfather's Civil War service, which lead them both to Port Hudson, Louisiana for it's 151st reenactment. Having knowledge about the 67th NY at the Grange, they both started to follow their campaigning season. They traveled to Cedar Creek for the 150th and finished the season at Remembrance Day weekend in Gettysburg. Soon after, the reenactor bug finally bit and Jim was hooked. Jim enjoyed cooking and pitched into the Commissary for many years preparing hardy meals of Civil War fare. He's now in bivouac, at rest.
