History Comes Alive in Oyster Bay

Oyster Bay, NY

May 31, 2025

This was our first appearance at this event which centers on Oyster Bay's most historical local, President Teddy Roosevelt, who lived at Sagamore Hill which is just a short drive from the harbor. Teddy Roosevelt's Rough Riders took center stage but their commander, Frank Bradford, invited additional historical eras including American Civil War and World War One. We also had period music and the 6th NY Independent Battery fired into the harbor to keep out the bootleggers. Fully supported by the Town of Oyster Bay, we had large crowds throughout the day.
