Living History at Monroe Museum Village

Monroe, NY

September 4, 2021

Mother Nature could not have delivered finer weather for our first road event in almost two years. Our battalion, the 2nd Federal Rifles, chose Monroe Museum Village as the season's 'MAX' event and this also was our first time visit since 2001. We managed to muster enough men to field a company and thanks to a smaller commissary, we feasted on hard bread, cheese, and a bean & bacon stew. We also celebrated the 86th birthday of one of our own, Jim Cuzzo. All in all, this was a good start in getting back to our travels.
