225th Anniversary of Baiting Hollow Church

Calverton, NY

November 5, 2016

We had perfect Fall weather for our Living History at Baiting Hollow Church in Calverton which is celebrating its 225th Anniversary this year. Along with our encampment, Chaplain George Munkenbeck of Co. H, 14th Brooklyn joined us to perform a memorial service in the cemetery where many veterans are buried including one mortally wounded at Gettysburg. Period music for the ceremony and throughout the day provided by Larry Moser & Mary Nagin. Fortunately, the fine weather gave us a chance to drill the many Fresh Fish that have drifted into our nets of late.
